Part of the A320 family of twin-engine, single-aisle planes. The A320 is used for short-to-medium-haul flights of up to 6200km (3852mi). These planes usually carry 140 to 170 passengers, but can hold up to 180 passengers. (Airbus)

 

The A320 uses either twin IAE V2500 engines or CFM International CFM 56-5 engines. (Aerospace Technology) Its first flight was on February 22nd, 1987. (Aviation Week)
